Senior QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior QA Automation Engineer to work remotely, who will define and implement test strategies, maintain automation frameworks, and ensure the quality and reliability of products through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and improve release velocity
- Define, design, and execute test plans while participating in design reviews to establish acceptance criteria and document outcomes
- Develop and automate test cases, integrating them into existing frameworks and maintaining regression and smoke test coverage
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer or developer focused on testing
- Experience with UI and/or API test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to design test plans and develop test cases for complex product features
