Senior QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Designing scalable API automation solutions, the full-time Senior QA Automation Engineer will develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java and integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines for AWS-based applications while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable API automation frameworks using Java, Rest Assured, TestNG, Maven, and Postman
- Automate REST API validation across integration, regression, and end-to-end testing scenarios for microservices-based applications
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure quality delivery
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in quality engineering, test automation, or software testing with a focus on API automation
- Advanced experience in developing API automation frameworks using Java, Rest Assured, TestNG, Maven, and Postman
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices testing, JSON and XML validation, and authentication methods such as OAuth and JWT
- Experience validating AWS-based applications and services, including API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB
- Hands-on experience using AI agents or generative AI tools in testing or engineering workflows
