Senior QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Driving quality outcomes in a fully remote environment, the full-time Senior QA Automation Engineer will lead testing strategies, mentor junior engineers, and evaluate AI-assisted testing tools to enhance software quality across the development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Lead quality initiatives and advocate for shared quality ownership within the squad
- Evaluate and implement AI-assisted testing tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage
- Mentor intermediate and junior QA engineers on technical skills and test strategy
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a strong background in automated testing
- Proven experience in leading quality improvements at a project or organizational level
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools or workflows
- Strong programming skills, preferably in JavaScript (ES6), and familiarity with SQL
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience integrating automated tests into build processes
