Senior QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Serving as a senior technical authority, the full-time Senior QA Automation Engineer will advance the enterprise test automation strategy for complex software systems in a remote environment, focusing on automation architecture, test strategy, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance software reliability and organizational speed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of scalable test automation strategies and design reusable automation frameworks for various applications
- Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, improving test execution speed and quality feedback loops
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA engineers while evaluating emerging technologies to enhance testing effectiveness
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of experience in QA automation, including building and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks
- ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification
- Experience in regulated software environments with a focus on computer system validation and 21 CFR Part 11
- Proficiency in at least one programming language for automation engineering, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
