Senior QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the quality strategy for a web user experience, the full-time Senior QA Automation Engineer will design and maintain test automation for a React and Next.js application while mentoring quality engineers and implementing comprehensive test strategies in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage test strategies covering functional, regression, accessibility, and performance testing
- Lead the creation and optimization of end-to-end and component tests using Playwright and Vitest
- Conduct accessibility testing and collaborate with teams to address defects and ensure compliance with standards
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including 3+ years in test automation for web applications
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript for automation
- Experience with component testing using Vitest or Jest and accessibility testing against WCAG standards
- Proficiency in API testing and contract testing with schema validation
- Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions, and version control using Git
