Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Driving quality engineering practices for a next-generation Workforce Management and Customer Experience platform, the full-time Senior QA Automation Engineer will own test automation across the full test pyramid, focusing on component and integration testing of cloud-native applications and microservices while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and/or Cypress, JUnit, and modern test automation practices
• Build and execute automated test suites at every level, including unit, component, integration, contract, API, end-to-end, and regression testing
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define acceptance criteria, analyze defects, and drive quality improvements across the software development lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of QA Automation experience
• Proven experience designing component and integration test suites for Java microservices
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Cypress using TypeScript or JavaScript
• Experience with performance and load testing tools and practices
• Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
