Job Summary
To support a growing product development team, the full-time Senior QA Automation Engineer will design, build, and maintain automated tests for web applications and APIs, ensuring reliable release readiness while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement automated tests for web applications and APIs, including end-to-end UI tests and integration tests
- Set up shared automation tools and conventions, coaching engineers to write and maintain their own tests
- Run automated tests in CI/CD pipelines, providing fast feedback and maintaining test suite reliability
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in software QA or test engineering, with 3+ years of experience writing automated tests in code
- Experience testing web applications and APIs at multiple levels, with a clear understanding of test coverage
- Proficiency in integrating automation within CI/CD pipelines that run on every change
- Strong programming skills in a language used for test automation (e.g., TypeScript or Python)
- A degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
