Senior QA Engineer
Job Summary
To support a client's quality assurance initiatives, the remote contract Senior QA Engineer will provide leadership in testing assignments, develop and execute comprehensive test plans, and analyze requirements for quality and testability over a 12-month period with potential for extension.
Key responsibilities
- Provide QA leadership and operational direction for testing assignments
- Develop and execute test plans for various testing types, including functional and performance testing
- Create and maintain automated test suites and enhance test automation frameworks
Required qualifications
- 5-8 years of QA/testing experience
- Strong expertise in QA methodologies and test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java, C#, or JavaScript
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
