Senior QA Engineer
Job Summary
Championing quality across product teams, the full-time Senior QA Engineer will define and own the QA strategy, lead feature testing cycles, and partner with engineers to ensure robust test coverage in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and strategies that integrate automated and manual testing
- Conduct exploratory, functional, and regression testing for newly released features prior to production
- Collaborate with Product Engineers to review test plans and maintain production quality through regular testing and monitoring
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Software Test Engineer role
- Proficiency in developing test plans and cases from product requirements and design specifications
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress and testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman
- Expertise in bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira/Linear) and version control systems (e.g., GitLab)
- Strong understanding of the SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies
