Seeking a detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to lead the test architecture for an on-premise flagship product in a fully remote, contract position, where the candidate will design test scenarios, develop automation scripts, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Set technical direction for testing the backend of the on-premise product
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Create detailed test plans and coordinate testing activities while collaborating closely with developers
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Solid hands-on experience in test automation and scripting with Python
- Linux background with proficiency in Bash
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
