Senior QA Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer, this fully remote position will lead the test architecture for an on-premise product, focusing on designing test scenarios, developing automation scripts, and ensuring high-quality software through rigorous testing practices.
Key responsibilities
- Set technical direction for testing the backend of the on-premise product
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open source tools
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities while creating detailed test plans and cases
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Solid hands-on experience in test automation and scripting with Python
- Linux background including administration and Bash scripting
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
