Senior QA Engineer
Job Summary
Owning and improving automation systems, the full-time remote Senior QA Engineer will enhance software testing practices by collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing QA work from project kickoff through release and maintenance.
Key responsibilities
- Own automation systems and QA work throughout the software development lifecycle
- Write and execute unit, component, API, and browser tests to ensure software quality
- Diagnose CI failures and improve unreliable tests while reporting on coverage and risks
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in test automation or software engineering at a senior level
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React applications
- Experience with modern test frameworks such as Jest or Playwright
- Able to use SQL for data verification in PostgreSQL or similar databases
- Familiarity with diagnosing CI and production issues using tools like Sentry or Grafana
