Senior QA Engineer
Job Summary
To support innovative software solutions, the remote contract Senior QA Engineer will manage testing, deployment, and release validation within modern data and application environments while collaborating with development teams.
Key responsibilities
- Support testing, deployment, and release validation for modern data and application environments
- Collaborate with development teams to create test plans, automate tests, and validate AI-assisted code outputs
- Independently manage testing tasks, including functional, integration, and release readiness testing, while documenting and verifying fixes
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in QA or DevOps with expertise in web and platform applications
- Strong test automation experience and familiarity with developing and maintaining automated test suites
- Extensive experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and validation activities for releases
- Hands-on experience with data & cloud technologies such as DBT, Databricks, and Snowflake
- Proven ability to test APIs and integrations using modern application technologies like JavaScript and Node.js
