Senior QA Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior QA Engineer will support modern data and application environments through testing, deployment, and release validation for innovative software solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to create test plans, automate tests, and validate AI-assisted code outputs
- Independently manage testing tasks, including functional, integration, and release readiness testing
- Ensure software enhancements are thoroughly tested and ready for deployment, supporting smooth release processes
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in QA or DevOps with expertise in web and platform applications
- Strong test automation experience and familiarity with developing and maintaining automated test suites
- Hands-on experience with data & cloud technologies such as DBT, Databricks, and Snowflake
- Proven ability to test APIs and integrations with modern application technologies like JavaScript and Node.js
- Extensive experience creating and executing test plans and validation activities for releases
