To enhance product quality and reliability, the remote Senior QA Engineer will build test automation capabilities from the ground up, execute manual and automated testing, and mentor junior team members while managing QA processes independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases and document defects clearly
- Design test architectures and build test frameworks for automation
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure release readiness and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional QA engineering experience with end-to-end ownership of complex work
- Hands-on experience with test automation, API testing, and CI/CD integration
- Proficiency in Python for test automation and experience with UI/end-to-end automation tools like Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and quality metrics
- Self-starter capable of independently managing QA while collaborating closely with development teams
