Senior QA Engineer (Automation)

Job Summary

Leading quality assurance efforts for high-impact software solutions, the contract Senior QA Engineer (Automation) will work remotely to design and execute test plans, create automation scripts, and mentor team members while ensuring data systems are reliable and defect-free.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document, and execute manual and automated test plans for multi-tier applications
• Create and maintain robust automation test scripts using Selenium or Playwright
• Perform backend database testing using SQL to validate high-volume data workflows

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software quality assurance experience using both White Box and Black Box strategies
• 3+ years of hands-on test automation experience using Selenium or Playwright
• 3+ years of backend database testing experience with proficiency in reading and writing SQL queries
• 3+ years of experience working in Agile Scrum environments on multi-tier systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated project leadership abilities
