Senior QA Specialist
Job Summary
To support a marketing and communications agency specializing in life sciences, the freelance Senior QA Specialist will lead quality assurance efforts by developing comprehensive testing strategies and executing both manual and automated testing in a remote capacity, with approximately 40 hours per week expected until October 27.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of test strategies, plans, and scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications
- Perform advanced manual testing of web applications, APIs, and integrated systems to validate functionality and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure quality is integrated into every release
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, particularly with web applications and digital platforms

- Advanced experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent
- Strong experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or SoapUI
