Senior QA Tester with Accessibility Certification
Job Summary
To support ongoing enhancements to applications used for monitoring and administering IDEA grants, the remote Senior QA Tester with Accessibility Certification will perform manual and automated testing, develop test cases and scripts, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct various software testing activities, including functional, regression, user acceptance, usability, and accessibility testing
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases and scripts while utilizing testing tools to support automated testing efforts
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to clarify requirements and perform API testing and database validation to ensure data accuracy
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance and Software Testing experience
- Certification in accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS) with a deep understanding of accessibility principles and WCAG 2.2 AA standards
- Strong experience with manual testing methodologies and best practices
- High-level proficiency with SQL queries, API testing, and database validation
- Experience developing test plans, test cases, and documentation from business requirements
