Senior QA Tester with Accessibility Certification
Job Summary
To support ongoing enhancements to applications for monitoring Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) grants, the remote Senior QA Tester with Accessibility Certification will focus on manual and automated testing, developing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams over a long-term project.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, user acceptance, usability, and accessibility testing
- Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases and scripts while utilizing automated testing tools where applicable
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance and Software Testing experience
- Strong experience with manual testing methodologies and best practices
- Certified in accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS, or equivalent) with a deep understanding of accessibility principles and WCAG 2.2 AA standards
- Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts
- High-level proficiency in SQL queries, database validation, API testing, and web service validation
