Job Summary
Seeking an experienced, automation-focused Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for a full-time remote position to lead quality initiatives, design and execute tests across the software stack, and mentor team members while collaborating with cross-functional teams in developing analytics and recruitment products for American Football.
Key responsibilities
- Lead quality initiatives by building risk-based testing strategies and driving quality discussions within the team
- Design and execute tests spanning front-end UI, APIs, backend services, and data pipelines to validate software functionality
- Automate testing processes using frameworks like Playwright to enhance efficiency and maintainability of automated checks
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of software testing experience with expertise in API testing, backend systems, and front-end validation
- Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Playwright and programming languages like Python or TypeScript
- Demonstrated leadership in owning quality for a squad and defining success criteria for testing initiatives
- Strong investigative skills to identify root causes of complex problems and measure outcomes
- Experience using AI tools for test case creation and workflow efficiency
