Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
Leading quality engineering efforts, the full-time Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will provide hands-on technical expertise in both manual and automation testing across API, web, and desktop applications while mentoring a team and setting automation standards.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for various applications, including API and web UI
- Set automation standards and frameworks while mentoring other QA engineers and providing technical guidance
- Plan and prioritize QA work in collaboration with engineering and product teams, reporting on quality metrics and release readiness
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience
- 8+ years of QA engineering experience, including 2+ years in a lead or senior role
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and REST Assured for API test automation
- Experience using Claude AI or similar tools for automation development
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and tooling
