Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the quality of a modern transportation platform, the remote Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will take ownership of testing complex features across web and mobile applications, investigate production issues, and drive test automation while collaborating with engineering and product teams.
Key responsibilities
- Own quality assurance for complex product areas, defining test strategies and performing various testing types
- Lead investigations of production issues, analyzing logs and isolating root causes across interconnected systems
- Design and maintain automation frameworks, improving testing processes and collaborating with engineering teams on quality standards
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or a technical software quality role
- Significant experience testing complex web and mobile applications with interconnected services
- Strong experience in investigating production issues using technical signals like logs and APIs
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies
- Strong programming and debugging skills, with the ability to navigate production codebases
