Senior Quality Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the development and management of comprehensive test plans, the full-time Senior Quality Engineer will implement test automation frameworks, conduct detailed testing, and mentor junior engineers while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex software applications
- Lead efforts to create, maintain, and optimize test automation frameworks for improved efficiency and coverage
- Conduct detailed manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance, and security
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, focusing on both manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, with a preference for Karate and/or Playwright
- Strong coding skills in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation
- Experience working in agile development environments and understanding of agile methodologies
