Senior Quality Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the quality strategy for complex software applications, the full-time Senior Quality Engineer will manage test planning, automation frameworks, and quality signals in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for software applications, including functional, regression, and performance testing
- Lead the creation and optimization of UI and API test automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor quality engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and tools
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance with hands-on UI and API automation testing
- Strong experience building automation frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver or TypeScript/JavaScript with Playwright
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions, and version control using Git
- Solid coding skills in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation
- Experience working in Agile development environments and knowledge of testing methodologies
