Senior Quality Engineer
Job Summary
To ensure the reliability and quality of a B2B background music and messaging platform, the full-time Senior Quality Engineer will manage manual and exploratory testing, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement targeted automation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and integrations across various platforms
- Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to clarify requirements and validate fixes
- Manage testing tasks and quality initiatives, tracking progress and maintaining documentation
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Quality Assurance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
- Strong experience in manual testing of web applications, services, and APIs
- Demonstrated ability to decide between manual testing and test automation
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira or TestRail
