Job Summary
To support the Healthcare Innovations team, the full-time Senior Quantitative Researcher will lead complex evaluations of Medicare payment models, manage business development activities for CMS and CMMI, and provide technical leadership on evaluation methodologies while working remotely or from various U.S. office locations.
Key responsibilities
- Supports business development activities, including proposal development and client engagement for CMS and CMMI
- Serves in leadership roles for complex evaluations, ensuring quality deliverables and effective client relationships
- Provides technical leadership on CMMI evaluations, utilizing quasi-experimental designs and analyzing various healthcare data
Required qualifications
- Ph.D. in Economics, Health Services Research, Quantitative Psychology, or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing tasks or workstreams within larger projects
- Experience in project leadership roles on CMMI model evaluation contracts
- Proven success in leading or contributing to winning proposals for CMS or other HHS agencies
- Extensive knowledge of Medicare payment policy and related healthcare datasets
