Senior R&D Analyst

Job Summary

Focused on advancing product models within the Special Lines organization, the full-time Senior R&D Analyst will prioritize data-driven product development, refine strategies, and support model deployment while collaborating with various teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance product models using statistical and quantitative methodologies
• Conduct exploratory analysis through data acquisition and modification to inform product differentiation
• Assess project benefits and produce model solutions to support effective model deployment

Required qualifications

• A minimum of six years of relevant experience in statistical/quantitative modeling within property & casualty insurance
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field with at least three years of analytical work experience, or a Master's/PhD in a quantitative field
• Experience with database tools for manipulating large volumes of structured data
• Proficiency in SQL or DBT, and modeling software such as SAS, R, or Python
• Strong background in data analytics, ratemaking, or predictive modeling in analytics-driven environments
