Senior R&D Engineer

Job Summary

To support the growth of the Peripheral Vascular Health technology portfolio, the full-time Senior R&D Engineer will drive front-end innovation for catheter-based technologies, focusing on concept development, feasibility assessment, and prototype development, while working in a flexible remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead early-stage engineering activities for peripheral arterial devices, translating clinical needs into design inputs
• Generate and iterate device concepts, developing early prototypes and conducting engineering analyses
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of early concepts with procedural workflows and development expectations

Required qualifications:

• Baccalaureate degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with no experience required
• Experience in early-stage R&D, particularly in medical device development
• Knowledge of catheter-based systems and peripheral vascular technologies
• Ability to conduct benchtop feasibility testing and analyze test data
• Familiarity with design control requirements and intellectual property development
