Job Summary
Independently performing complex government reimbursement reporting and analysis, the full-time Senior Reimbursement Analyst will prepare and review Medicare and Medicaid cost-report schedules, develop financial-impact analyses, and support audits and appeals while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review Medicare and Medicaid cost-report schedules and regulatory submissions for accuracy and compliance
- Develop reimbursement estimates, forecasts, and financial-impact models, presenting findings to department leadership
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to provide technical guidance and support accurate reimbursement results
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, health administration, or a related field
- 4 years of experience in hospital reimbursement, healthcare finance, or financial analysis
- Experience preparing financial analyses and regulatory reports
- Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting and reimbursement methodologies
- Proficiency in spreadsheet applications and financial reporting systems
