Job Summary
Providing high-quality customer service, the fixed-term Senior Reimbursement Specialist will conduct benefit investigations, verify insurance benefits, and facilitate patient access to client products from October 12, 2026, to January 29, 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct benefit investigations and verify insurance benefits for patients and physicians' offices, including submitting prior authorizations
- Accurately enter and maintain data in client databases and monitor outstanding items on client case files
- Participate in conference calls with Client Sales Representatives and physicians' offices regarding case statuses and product orders
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- 4 - 6 years of experience in the insurance, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries, with a focus on customer service and reimbursement
- Proficiency in MS Office applications; database experience is a plus
- Knowledge of third-party billing, coding, medical terminology, prior authorizations, and appeals preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
