Senior Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

To support the annual re-verification season, the fixed-term Senior Reimbursement Specialist will conduct outbound calls to insurance payers for benefit verifications and prior authorizations while working remotely from November 16, 2026, through February 27, 2027.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct benefit investigations and verify insurance benefits for patients and physicians' offices
• Accurately enter and maintain data in client databases and monitor outstanding items on client case files
• Educate patients and prescribers on program requirements and facilitate referrals while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• 4 - 6 years of experience in the insurance, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries, with a focus on customer service or reimbursement
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; database experience is a plus
• Knowledge of third-party billing, coding, medical terminology, prior authorizations, and appeals preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
