Senior Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

Providing high-quality customer service in a remote capacity, the full-time Senior Reimbursement Specialist will conduct benefit investigations, verify insurance benefits, and facilitate the reimbursement process for patients and healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct benefit investigations and submit prior authorizations as required by payers
• Accurately enter and maintain patient data in the client database, ensuring completeness for case status determination
• Participate in conference calls with Client Sales Representatives and healthcare providers regarding case statuses and drug orders

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• 4 - 6 years of experience in the insurance, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical industries, with a focus on customer service or reimbursement
• Computer proficiency in MS Office applications; database experience is a plus
• Knowledge of third-party billing, coding, medical terminology, and prior authorizations preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
