Job Summary

Overseeing daily research business operations, the full-time Senior Research Business Manager will manage a complex research portfolio, provide strategic guidance on research administration matters, and support operational leadership within a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead research administration and financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Coordinate the development and submission of complex grant proposals while ensuring compliance with all requirements
• Supervise and mentor Research Operations Analysts and administrative staff, providing performance management and professional development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, business administration, research administration, science, or related field
• 4 years of business management experience in an academic research or healthcare environment, including personnel and financial management
• Master's degree in business administration or healthcare administration is preferred, with 6+ years of relevant experience
