Job Summary
Leading the design, execution, and analysis of research projects, the full-time remote Senior Research Consultant will support faculty and graduate researchers by developing research questions, conducting data analysis, and co-authoring manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute research projects, including developing research questions and experimental designs
- Conduct data analysis using appropriate statistical and machine learning methods, and interpret results
- Collaborate with investigators on grant proposals, including research design and analysis plans
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, or a related field
- Seven years of experience applying statistics, with peer-reviewed publication record
- Expertise in at least three programming tools: R, Python, SAS, SPSS, Stata, MATLAB, ArcGIS, or JMP
- Deep knowledge of statistical and machine learning methods for peer-reviewed publications
- Ability to work independently and prioritize assignments with minimal supervision
