Senior Research Manager

Job Summary

Leading the newly established Animal Movement Foundations Team, the full-time Senior Research Manager will develop strategies, manage consulting projects, and oversee research initiatives focused on improving animal welfare, all within a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage consulting intake and prioritize requests from funders and advocacy organizations
• Identify and act on research opportunities, setting agendas for priority projects
• Oversee the Animal Advocacy Strategy Forum, ensuring impactful outcomes from the annual gathering

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in decision-oriented research aimed at influencing stakeholder decisions
• Demonstrated judgment in prioritization and decision-making under uncertainty
• Management experience, including mentoring others with specialized expertise
• Ability to design strategy and processes for team effectiveness
• Strong skills in reviewing and interrogating qualitative and quantitative research
