Job Summary
Owning the development of a cutting-edge AI job analysis system, the full-time Senior Research Scientist, AI will lead the enhancement of Wonderlic's Jobs Engine, ensuring scientifically defensible insights while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and continuous improvement of the Jobs Engine, integrating labor market data to enhance job analysis capabilities
- Serve as an expert on AI implementation, collaborating with product managers and engineers to translate scientific requirements into effective AI-powered systems
- Drive scientific rigor by applying I-O psychology principles to ensure compliance with professional and legal standards in AI products
Required qualifications
- Graduate degree in I-O Psychology, Organizational Psychology, or a closely related field; a doctoral degree is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in ML engineering with production-grade systems
- Experience applying modern NLP methods to behavioral or labor market data
- Minimum of 3 years of applied industry experience; 5+ years preferred
