Senior Researcher
Job Summary
Leading the development and continuous improvement of Pearl's proprietary home performance rating, the full-time remote Senior Researcher will manage the Resilience Pillar of the SCORE, track industry standards and technologies, and promote research through publications and expert engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development of SCORE algorithms, focusing on the Resilience pillar while supporting other pillars
- Track new and emerging industry standards and technologies to ensure alignment with best practices
- Engage with national and international experts to inform SCORE methodology and support public programs related to resilience and energy
Required qualifications
- Background in residential resilience research and/or standards
- Experience developing or maintaining scoring methodologies, algorithms, or technical standards
- Strong knowledge of residential building performance and resilience measures
- Experience tracking and interpreting industry standards development
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience in technical research and general audience content
