Job Summary
To support a growing real estate technology startup, the full-time Senior Residential Title Specialist will perform and review complex residential title searches, analyze chains of title, and ensure accurate documentation in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform and review complex residential title searches and analyze chains of title
- Research and interpret various title-related documents, ensuring all required documents are correctly attached and presented
- Conduct final quality reviews of title searches before completion and delivery
Required qualifications:
- 9+ years of residential title search/title examination experience in the United States
- Extensive hands-on experience independently performing and completing title searches
- Strong knowledge of chain of title, vesting, property ownership, and title search terminology
- Proven ability to identify clouds or defects in title and determine the relevance of recorded documents
- Ability to work independently on complex title searches while maintaining a high level of accuracy
