Senior Revenue Accountant
Job Summary
To support the accounting organization, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant will manage lease and revenue accounting, focusing on accurate revenue recognition, billing support, and month-end close activities while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain the NetLessor lease revenue system in NetSuite for accurate lease revenue accounting
- Coordinate with the Billing team to ensure proper revenue recognition and related accruals and deferrals
- Monitor accounts receivable balances and evaluate collectability in line with Company policy
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred
- 4-8 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience with lease revenue recognition or revenue accounting in a recurring-revenue environment preferred
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition policies
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with NetLessor SuiteApp and NetSuite preferred
