Senior Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

Owning the day-to-day execution of revenue accounting, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant will ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606, support month-end and quarter-end close processes, and maintain data integrity across systems while working remotely or from the Boston office.

Key responsibilities

• Apply ASC 606 to new and amended contracts, including performance obligations and variable consideration
• Prepare revenue entries, deferred revenue schedules, and contract-level reconciliations for month-end and quarter-end closes
• Review non-standard contract terms and provide guidance on revenue treatment to Sales and Deal Desk teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
• 4-6 years of revenue accounting experience in public accounting and/or a high-growth SaaS company
• Hands-on experience with ASC 606 and multi-element contracts, including SSP analysis
• Experience managing a revenue close, including deferred revenue roll-forwards and reconciliations
• Familiarity with cloud ERP and billing systems, with strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
