Job Summary
Detail-oriented and technically skilled, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant will manage deferred revenue and contract asset reconciliation, perform technical revenue recognition reviews under ASC 606, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end reconciliation of deferred revenue and contract asset balances across customer accounts and product lines
- Prepare and maintain detailed roll-forward schedules for deferred revenue and contract assets, analyzing activity drivers monthly and quarterly
- Perform technical accounting reviews of customer contracts to assess revenue recognition treatment and ensure compliance with ASC 606
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in accounting
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and its application to SaaS/technology revenue arrangements
- Ability to evaluate complex, multi-element contracts and apply revenue recognition judgment
- Familiarity with healthcare IT industry dynamics and their impact on revenue recognition
