Senior Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing finance team, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant will manage recurring revenue close activities, apply revenue accounting policies, and maintain data accuracy and reporting while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for recurring revenue close activities
• Apply established revenue accounting policies to transactions and maintain completeness and accuracy of accounts receivable in NetSuite
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and documentation of revenue accounting activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; 3+ years of relevant accounting experience; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and revenue accounting principles, including familiarity with ASC 606
• Experience preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations with strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning ERP and reporting tools like NetSuite and Zuora
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage recurring processes and identify improvements
