Job Summary
To support a growing finance team, the full-time Senior Revenue Accountant will manage the revenue close process, apply ASC 606 to revenue arrangements, and analyze financial results while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own the preparation and execution of the revenue close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement analyses
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue results, identifying key business drivers and communicating insights to leadership
- Lead revenue accounting projects and process improvements, focusing on automation and efficiency enhancements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in public accounting and industry
- Strong understanding of revenue accounting principles and ASC 606, with the ability to manage recurring revenue processes
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and deliver medium-to-large projects effectively
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP or revenue tools such as NetSuite or Zuora
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
