Job Summary
To support the organization's growth, the remote Senior Revenue Accountant will manage ASC 606 revenue recognition principles, including the application of Standalone Selling Price (SSP) models and the management of multi-element arrangements while ensuring compliance with revenue accounting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Review customer purchase orders and contracts to determine appropriate ASC 606 revenue accounting and prepare related journal entries
- Maintain SSP models to allocate revenue among multiple performance obligations in contracts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate contracts and assess revenue implications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
- 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or corporate revenue accounting involving ASC 606
- CPA License preferred
- Detail-oriented mindset with a solid understanding of project financial management
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS, Oracle RMCS, Salesforce.com, and advanced Excel skills preferred
