Senior Revenue Accounting Manager

Job Summary

Leading a remote team, the full-time Senior Revenue Accounting Manager will oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606, manage the revenue close processes, and enhance billing operations while mentoring the accounting team.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for revenue recognition and provide guidance on customer contracts and deal structures
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close processes, ensuring accurate reporting of revenue and deferred revenue
• Oversee day-to-day revenue operations, strengthening internal controls over billing and revenue pipelines

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in public accounting and revenue accounting roles at public, high-growth, or pre-IPO SaaS companies
• Experience managing accounting professionals and fostering a culture of accountability and development
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and order-to-cash accounting processes
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems like NetSuite and billing tools such as ARM, Stripe, or Zuora
• Ability to write clear technical accounting memos and communicate complex issues effectively
