Senior Revenue Cycle Specialist

Job Summary

To successfully collect on aging medical insurance claims, the full-time Senior Revenue Cycle Specialist will file claims, research account denials, and ensure the integrity of each claim while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• File claims using appropriate forms and attachments while verifying patient information and benefits
• Research account denials and draft written appeals as necessary
• Document all efforts in the CUBS system and maintain confidentiality of account information

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• 1 - 3 years of experience in insurance billing preferred
• Knowledge of all insurance payers preferred
• Proficient PC knowledge with typing skills of 30-40 wpm
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
