Senior Risk Analyst

Job Summary

Leading second-line reviews of complex topics, the full-time Senior Risk Analyst will support Treasury Risk Management or Finance & Regulatory Reporting Oversight teams by developing assessments, drafting documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead reviews of interest rate, market, or liquidity risk topics and develop independent assessments
• Draft formal documentation of review conclusions and present findings to management
• Identify opportunities to enhance oversight methodologies and maintain compliance with internal control standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field with at least four years of relevant experience, or eight years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Advanced knowledge of financial principles and regulatory compliance issues in the banking industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Experience in financial reporting, audit, or a similar field preferred
• Familiarity with advanced analytical tools such as SAS, VBA, or SQL is a plus
