Job Summary
As a full-time Senior Risk Analyst on the Payments Risk Operations team, the candidate will manage complex risk cases related to deposits, withdrawals, and trading while utilizing AI tools to enhance investigations and improve risk controls.
Key responsibilities
- Own escalations from Payments Risk Operations, making final decisions on high-impact cases
- Lead responses to emerging fraud patterns, conducting root cause analysis and loss assessments
- Drive performance measurement of rules and models in collaboration with Risk Modeling and Analytics
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in payments risk, fraud operations, or fraud investigations
- Deep understanding of ACH, cards, wires, and crypto payment rails, with a proven track record in improving risk controls
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with blockchain analytics tools for tracing funds
- Experience in reviewing analyst decisions for quality and communicating complex risk decisions effectively
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly while maintaining human oversight in workflows
