Senior Risk Analyst

Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Risk Analyst on the Payments Risk Operations team, the candidate will manage complex risk cases related to deposits, withdrawals, and trading, utilizing AI tools to enhance investigations and drive improvements in risk policies and controls while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Own escalations from Payments Risk Operations and partner teams, making final decisions on high-impact cases
• Lead responses to emerging fraud patterns, conducting root cause analysis and implementing remediation strategies
• Drive rule and model performance measurement in collaboration with Risk Modeling and Analytics to minimize losses

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in payments risk, fraud operations, or fraud investigations, with decision-making authority on complex cases
• Deep understanding of ACH, cards, wires, and crypto payment rails with a track record of improving risk controls
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with blockchain analytics tools for tracing funds on-chain
• Experience in reviewing analyst decisions for quality and adherence to SOPs, with effective communication skills
• Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly while maintaining human oversight in workflows
