Senior Risk Manager
Job Summary
Providing strategic leadership in risk management, the full-time Senior Risk Manager will develop and oversee loss prevention strategies and risk mitigation initiatives while working remotely from any state within the Continental US.
Key responsibilities
- Lead timely initial event responses and conduct comprehensive investigations into high-risk events
- Partner with claims management to ensure strategic handling of potentially compensable events and manage administrative claims
- Drive accountability by monitoring risk mitigation action plans and collaborating with operational leadership to implement targeted loss prevention strategies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business, Legal, or a related field (Required)
- 5+ years of experience in Healthcare Risk Management, Quality, or Safety (Required)
- CPHRM certification within 1 year of hire (Required)
- Master's Degree in Healthcare, Business, Legal, Insurance, or a related field (Preferred)
- Healthcare, Law or Insurance Licensure (Preferred)
